The paradigm of doing something new

Standing at the kitchen counter while making myself dinner— a delicious Mexican-style guacamole with raw celery sticks I got a download that I felt called to share. It is about the paradigm of doing something new.

Some of you have shared about your calling to do something different, something of service yet an energy of hesitation stops you from making that step that you know will be pivotal to you.

While it’s alright to experience this feeling of hesitation, when we become aware however, that we are one decision away from a completely new life, we become empowered on how to navigate that period of indecision.

Like you, I have experienced it many times. Infact, countless times.

It’s the body’s natural mechanism to stop you from going out of your comfort zone even when you are entertaining a new way of being through thought.

I feel called to share that this period of indecision can get us into a ‘freeze’ moment that could maybe prolong into weeks, months and even years.

We don’t know if we want to say yes, nor do we know if we want to say no. So, we try to find the slightest excuse that can convince us to make a decision.

That could be anything really.

So what can we do?

Instead of trying to find the sign from the outside (logic)

Try to find the sign from within (intuition)

It makes everything so much easier.

Your pursuit of whether or not you want to get out of that comfort zone should come from a higher state of being that we tap into when we are in sync with the deepest part of ourselves—our raw self.

While the paradigm of indecision exists for many, a lot of people overcome it pretty fast.

One thing I realize that gives them this undaunted confidence is their detachment, drive, and playfulness with life. Not everything has to be a dead-serious moment packed with life-changing decisions. Not everything should be edgy.
